[11.12.11]

I photographed Mrs. Robinson back in October for the Guardian Weekend Magazine.

Mrs. Robison's son, Larry Robison, was sentenced to death and executed on January 21, 2000, for the murder of five individuals on August 10, 1982.

Since Larry's sentencing Mrs. Robinson and her husband Ken have campaigned to stop the execution of mentally ill inmates.

Went to Mississippi for the day last Friday.

Kerry was in town to stay with his grandfather for the summer, I hadn't seen him since the first time I visited MS two years ago.

The FT Weekend Magazine just published this piece on the FDIC I made back in February.

Their writer Tom Braithwaite and I followed FDIC officials and their team of investigators

as they closed down a failed bank in Cornelia, GA. And then flew up to DC to photograph portraits at the FDIC headquarters.

I was really quite excited to be working with Emma Bowkett at the FT.

To be able to shoot film on this assignment and to shoot with my Mamiya C330 was a dream come true.

I'm planning to put up a new gallery of the full project very soon so stay tuned.

Just received a spread I did for the FT Weekend Magazine last month.

This was the second time I've photographed neuroscientist David Eagleman from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Dr. Eagleman was interviewed about his past time spent at the shooting range. Which wouldn't seem odd if you didn't know he

spents his days studying the brain and writing books on time perception.

Super Chicken. Shoot Dat Thang!

Just scanned some images from my time assisting Bryan Harvey in Clarksdale, MS.

These are from our session interviewing Clarksdale-based bluesman, Super Chicken, at his workshop in his backard.

The guitar he is holding is responsible for the Clarksdale Sheriff's Dept.'s raid on

the juke joint, Ground Zero, after someone reported a double barrel shotgun inside the bar during his performance.

Little did they know it was the rockin' guitar that he made himself that they were after.

The next photo is of several other guitars he's made inside his workshop.

A couple of spreads I received in the mail recently.

OjodePez featured my piece Cuando Estoy Aqui several months back.

And a new client, the FT Weekend Magazine mailed me over my first spread with them from a shoot I did at NASA in March.
